The XII School of Education Miguel de Guzmán, entitled Discovering the senses in Mathematics, was held in-person and online. The in-person school was held on the September 30 and October 1, 2022 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Cantabria in Santander. The online school was held through Moodle from the October 3 to 9. The event was organised by the Real Sociedad Matemática Española (Royal Spanish Mathematical Society; RSME) y the Federación Española de Sociedades de Profesores de Matemáticas (Spanish Federation of Societies of Teachers of Mathematics; FESPM).
As part of the Miguel de Guzmán School, Jose Diego gave a plenary talk ‘La educación STEAM y su integración en el aula desde el enfoque de las matemáticas escolares’ and Zaira Ortiz gave a workshop ‘Diseña e implementa una actividad STEAM con formato KIKS en tu propia aula’.
